
REDSCAR BIOGRAPHY
Emerging from the North East of the UK, Redscar is a powerhouse band that blends thrash, groove, and general heavy metal. Originally known as Trendkill, the group made a significant mark in 2019 when they played the Jäegermeister stage at the prestigious Bloodstock Festival. Their energetic performance showcased their raw talent and passion for heavy music, setting the stage for their later evolution into Redscar.

With a lineup change combining inspiration from metal icons such as Metallica, Pantera, Gojira, and Avenged Sevenfold, Redscar channels these influences into a sound that is both fierce and dynamic. In their new incarnation, Redscar has continued to build their reputation, recently becoming finalists in the Newcastle 2025 Metal 2 the Masses competition after only a few months together. This achievement not only reflects their dedication to their craft but also solidifies their aspiration to return to Bloodstock in the near future, where they aim to indoctrinate a wider audience.
Currently, Redscar is focused on creating energetic live shows that leave a lasting impression on their audience. They are working on their first DIY EP, which promises to showcase their signature sound and raw energy. In addition to the EP, new singles are in the pipeline, further solidifying their commitment to pushing and elevating their presence in the metal community.
